I'm planning a road trip that me and my friends will be going on in a few years. We plan to see all of North America but we also want to spend at least 3-4 weeks in Jamaica, because we consider that like a dream vacation spot. Anyway, we're going to be traveling in a camper van (hopefully a volkswagen type 2 T1) and we don't want to abandon it to get to Jamaica, so is there a ferry/boat that would transport our car from Cuba to Jamaica? How much would this cost?

Also, if it's not possible, can you please give me a ferry path that would take our car from a point in North/Central America to Jamaica?

late period,could i be pregnant?

for the past month ive been getting mild period like cramps and lower backache.
i am on the pill but that being said im not the best at remebering to take the pill missing a couple days here and there. 2days before my period was due and on the day it was due i had period pains like i was about to come on AF but nothing. i have had no period cramps since and im now 4 days late. i took a pregnancy test the day after my period was due in the afternoon ( i know your ment to take it in the am but i couldnt wait and held a couple hours urine in my bladder before doing the test) which came back negative,and also again 2day (again mid afternoon) a clear blue digital which also came back negative. me and my partner are very sexually active having sex about 3times a day(sorry for tmi)
my periods before taking the pill were regular and when i came off the pill a few years ago my periods returned back to normal give or take a day. so roughly me and my partner have had about 5days 'unprotected' sex this month. i have only been on the pill now currently for 7months have i done the tests to early and should i do another or do you think my missed period could be from me not taking the pill properly?
i know nobody knows for sure as i sure as hell have no clue but just wondering if anyone else has been in the same boat?

I'm 37 weeks on Monday. My doc considers 36 weeks to be term, so if I go into labor he wont try to stop it. I lost my plug on Thursday, had some spotting with it that has stopped but random spotting here and there since then. I have also had very strong contractions since last night but nothing regular. I want to go into labor so bad! I know I am not technically due yet (due the 27th) but I just can't wait to get the ball rolling. My husband feels the same way. Anyone else out there in the same boat?

My mother won't let me go to my father's family reunion because we have to fly to get there. Help!?

My parents are divorced, and my mother has custody of me. Part of the custody arrangement says that my father cannot take me out of the state without my mother's consent. In the past this has never been an issue. During the summer we often pack up in his RV, and hit dozens of states right in a row. Next summer dad wants to switch things up. His family's hosting a big reunion in Ireland, and he wants me to come with him. This would be the first time in my life that I'd get to meet any of my dad's brothers or sisters, and only the third time that I'd meet my grandmother, who I talk to online almost everyday. She's expressed how excited the family is to finally meet me, so I'm really eager to go.

Unfortunately mom won't let me. Mom's afraid of planes. She refuses to let me go unless we go by boat, which is silly. I've tried to talk to her about this, but flying scares mom so much that she turns into a raving madwoman. All she does is scream, yell, and ground me. I know that this is really affecting her because any time I even mention the trip around her she goes pale, and clutches her chest like she can't breath.

I know this is hard for mom, but I don't want to miss out on the trip of a lifetime. Three months in Ireland seems so fantastic. My only option at this point is to ask that my father be given custody of me. I don't want to do that to my mom. Aside from this we've always gotten along so well. I consider her to be my best friend. So what can I do to get her to come around?
Cost and the amount of time I'll be there aren't issues. She's terrified of planes, period. She won't go near them, and she won't let me go near one.

I live here near Houston, and the economy looks fine to me. I've been making more money since 2007 than ever before in my life, working as a lawyer/consultant in the energy sector.

Where, exactly, can I see this "economic crisis?" On a day to day basis, I see a regular, healthy economy churning along. I see freeways still packed with SUVs and trucks towing boats/ATVs. I just had an extension installed on my garage, and the contractor seems to have plenty of business.

Think about the gap between your own life and what the media claims is happening:

-Do you, personally, know anyone with a house in foreclosure? No; you don't.

-Do you, personally, know people who are unemployed? Nope. You do not.

-Do you, personally, know anybody facing "financial ruin" because of healthcare/education/credit card debt costs? Again - no, you probably don't.

See what I mean? Why is the media lying about the economy? Just to sell newspapers and get viewers?
